Project Learning Tree GreenSchools
Project Learning Tree’s GreenSchools program inspires students to take personal responsibility for improving the environment and greening at their school, home, and in their community. In partnership with Project BudBurst, PLT GreenSchools are adding a citizen science activity that engages students in making plant observations while investigating their school site. By reporting these observations to Project BudBurst, students will contribute to climate change research while building STEM skills.

All Schools are Welcome!
Any school or green school can join in on the fun and learning from observing plants and trees and entering your data in Project Budburst! Through our partnership, PLT GreenSchools and Project Budburst hope to build a citizen science community of schools that are interested in green school activities that engage students in connecting to and learning about the natural world and environmental stewardship.
Our PLT GreenSchools program has many resources to help you get started or supplement your current green school program. Registration is free!
