NEW! Season Spotter Citizen Science Project

On July 21, NEON’s Project BudBurst and Harvard University, in collaboration with Zooniverse, launched a new citizen science initiative, Season Spotter, where citizen scientists analyze images of natural settings throughout the changing seasons.

Students Feature Project Budburst on Local and International Stage

Diane Sophusson's fourth grade class at Schmitz Park Elementary shared a presentation showcasing their participation in Project BudBurst at a nearby environmental education facility, IslandWood as part of its annual Make a Difference Summit. The US Consulate in Russia shared a Russian version of the fourth graders' presentation at the Vladivostok Botanical Garden's Rhododendron Day Festival.
