Science Content Standard C: Life Science
  Populations and Ecosystems: The number (and type) of organisms an ecosystem can support depends on the resources available and abiotic factors such as quantity of light, water, range of temperatures and soil composition.
  Diversity and Adaptations of Organisms: Biological adaptations include changes in structures, behaviors, or physiology that enhance survival and reproductive success in a particular environment.

  Standard 1: How to use maps and other geographic representations, tools, and technologies to acquire, process, and report information from a spatial perspective.
