About Summer Solstice Snapshot

Summer is a great time of year. Sunshine, summer vacations, and best of all, beautiful plants flowering and fruiting all around. The summer solstice is the day of the year with the most hours of sun for the Northern Hemisphere, and generally falls between June 20th and June 22nd, depending on the year. Join in the Summer Solstice Snapshot campaign by making observations of a plant near you, while on vacation, at home, or at work, during June and July. Learn more about the campaign.
