A small shrub, 6-12 ft. tall, with numerous erect branches arching at the top.
Identification Hints

Gray-green leaves are opposite and oval shaped with coarse, round teeth. Clusters of non-showy, pink flowers bloom in June and July. The flowers are followed by greenish-white berries, soon discoloring to brown or black.

Western snowberry is used by songbirds, game birds, small mammals and browsers for food, cover, and nesting sites. The plant also attracts hummingbirds.
