Leaves
Lanceleaf springbeauty has a few linear to oval-shaped fleshy leaves that branch oppositely from the flowering stem and also emerge from the base of the plant. Leaves are often absent when flowering begins.
Flowers
The flowers are arranged in loose clusters of 3 to 15 small, bowl-shaped flowers. Flowers have five white to pinkish petals, rarely light yellow to orange, and sometimes with darker pink to purple shading. Flowers also have five stamens and three styles that protrude from the center of the flower. Occasionally the anthers are pink or magenta.
Fruits
Fruits of lanceleaf springbeauty are small capsules that contain a few shiny black seeds.
