Did You Know?

Prairie rose is very drought resistant. According to the USFS, this plant produced an unusually large crop of fruit during the "Great Drought of 1934" in the Great Plains. Navajo and Dakota tribes have steeped the prairie rose hips in water and used the solution to treat eye inflammation.
