Since my last observation, a tornado passed through the area and affected my sugar maple tree. I observed several broken branches and an increase in leaf debris beneath the tree. Although the storm caused some physical damage, the tree remains standing and continues to have a full canopy of green leaves. I will continue monitoring the tree to determine whether the storm has any lasting effects on its health and growth.
