Milkweeds & monarchs observation

The plants share space with a large lavender plant. There has been milkweed plants at the same site for like 3 years, my family and i enjoy watching the butterflies and the littles caterpillars. In those 3 years we've counted around 4 to 6 caterpillars turning into butterflies every winter-spring every year
