HABITAT
This milkweed can be found in sandy open ground, ravine bottoms, ridges, and roadsides.
ATTRIBUTES
Leaves
Thick leaves have petioles and are ovate. 2-6" long 1-3" wide, dark green and hairless above, lighter below with hair.
Flowers
White flowers with purple on the base of the corona, clustered in a 30+ flowered spherical umbel. Petals are reflexed backward.

Pods erect and brownish
