Did you know?

Eastern redbud fruits are bean-shaped flat, green pods, approximately 3.5 inches long, which change to a brown color when mature. The seed pods generally contain 4-10 small, hard brownish colored seeds. In wild populations, you might find Eastern redbud trees to be more numerous on south-facing slopes because they receive more sunlight.
