Located in Mequon, Wisconsin, Mequon Nature Preserve (MNP) is 438 acres of woodlands, wetlands, prairies and open fields established in 2002. MNP has over five miles of trails and a 40-foot observation tower that are open to the public at no cost, 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Visitors come from throughout the region to engage in environmental science programs and nature-based recreation activities including hiking, bird watching and snowshoeing. Annually, 6,000 students come for field trips, which are provided at no cost to schools or students.
